 | Imagine the most tranquil location with wide views across open fields, pheasants roaming around the grounds, the occasional sighting of deer and partridge, hares and rabbits, all only one and a half miles by road from the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, with its quaint pubs, restaurants, shops and many attractions. Sounds too good to be true? It's not.
We are less than five minutes drive from Bourton-on-the-Water, with its beautiful river and little old stone bridges through the centre of this lively village.
Yet we are totally in the midst of the most wonderful rolling Cotswold countryside. Several interesting country walks lead off in every direction from our Barn itself. There is a large patio to enjoy the warmer weather and an old brick fireplace with a wood burner for those chilly evenings in winter, as well as full central heating. |
The conversion of the barn commenced in 1994 by us and we hope to have restored it to its former glory and beyond, whilst retaining all its old charm and character.
The choice is yours; either a week in our 2 bedroom self-contained cottage, which consists of a fully fitted kitchen, bathroom, two double bedrooms and a large beamed lounge with patio windows all across the sunny aspect to appreciate the views at all bedroom and shower room.
If you don't wish to cater for yourself and would just like a luxury break, we have double or twin bedrooms and a large family room, all with private shower rooms, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, on a bed and breakfast basis, with full home cooked English Breakfast in the breakfast room, again with wonderful views of the rolling countryside. | |
 | Bourton is a hubbub of activity with many varied eating places, old fashioned pubs, shops, Birdland, the Model Village, the Motor Museum, the Model Railway and the Maze.
Please note we do not allow smoking anywhere in the house and unfortunately we can not take any pets. |
